  • 474 students, grades 6-12 in Upson County say they have worried about other students hurting them. This is about 29.6% of students.

 

  • 409 students say they do not feel safe in their school. This is 25.5% of students grades 6-12 in Upson County.

 

  • 659 students, grades 6-12 (41.1%) say they have been concerned about their physical safety at school.

 

  • 392 students grades 6-12 (24.4)% in Upson County say they have been bullied or threatened by other students in the past 30 days. 40 students identified that they have been bullied or threated by other students every day for the past 30 days.
  • 2% of students grades 6-12 (484 students) say they have been picked on or teased at school in the past 30 days. 55 students say they were picked on or teased every day in the last 30 days.

 

  • 155 students say in the last 30 days, they have been mocked, tormented, or harassed on social network sites by other students (9.6%). 35 students say this occurred every day in the last 30 days.

 

  • 210 students say in the last 30 days, someone has bullied or picked on them by hitting, pushing, or kicking. This is 13.1% of students. 33 students say they have been bullied in this way every day of the past 30 days.

 

  • 409 students (25.5%) say in the last 30 days, someone has bullied or picked on them by making fun, yelling, or saying something mean. 46 students say this type of bulling occurred every day in the 30 days.
