History

Beyond The Bell was founded and created by Sandra Dean in 2002. The purpose was to help address affordable after school and summer programs for working parents to ensure children were safe and nurtured during non-school hours. The program further grew to include academic and enrichment programs to enhance the children's school day and to also add additional educational opportunities to children such as educational field trips, prevention programs, character education, manners and etiquette classes, sports and recreation.
